Top 10 Greta Van Fleet Songs

Greta Van Fleet is a fairly new band, founded in 2012. However, in their relatively short existence, they have already shown so much greatness and have enormous potential for the future. As a Led Zeppelin fan (there is no secret Greta Van Fleet are inspired by them) I of course love this band, and I look forward to more great songs!

#10 My Way, Soon

Greta Van Fleet are often compared to Led Zeppelin and that is certainly a big compliment. I love both bands and this song really reminds me of Zeppelin, which is a good reason it reached my top ten in a list with so many candidates for it.

#9 Watching Over

I absolutely love the melody and the instruments in this one. It has sort of a psychedelic sound to it that is super mesmerizing. It's likely this one could climb the list in the future, though the comings songs are crazy good too.

#8 Edge Of Darkness

The melody of this one, Edge Of Darkness, in my opinion, has sort of a "messier" sound than many of their songs, but that is certainly not a bad thing. I get huge 70's vibes from this one and I like it more and more the more I hear it.

#7 When The Curtain Falls

This is one of Greta Van Fleet's most popular songs and for good reason, it's absolutely fantastic. However, as great and popular as it is, it's not as awesome as the next songs, so for now it can't claim a higher spot than seven for me.

#6 You're The One

You're The One is one of Greta Van Fleet's calmer songs, and it's just beautiful in every way. Whenever you are in the mood to chill out, this song is absolutely perfect. It shows the band are masters of both calm and powerful rock songs!

#5 Safari Song

An extremely solid Greta Van Fleet song that I just seem to like more and more the more I hear it. This is probably their most "Led Zeppelin inspired" song, when it comes to its style, and that is definitely not a bad thing in any way!

#4 Heat Above

This song wasn't a favorite a few years back, I somehow neglected it a bit. However, after watching Greta Van Fleet live in 2024, where they performed it, it rose on my list with record speed, it was simply performed crazy well live!

#3 Black Smoke Rising

Black Smoke Rising is another fan favorite and all I can say is that I agree with the masses! It's a phenomenal song that truly shows the skills of each band member and not only that, it also really gives me hope for the future of Rock 'N' Roll!

#2 Highway Tune

This is definitely Greta Van Fleets biggest hit, with the most views by far on both YouTube and Spotify. And maybe it's also their best song as well. What else can I say than that, except that I have one other song as my personal favorite.

#1 Meeting The Master

For me, the number one spot goes to Meeting The Master. It's criminally underrated and to me it's a nearly perfect song. It was also their best performance when I saw them live, which made me appreciate this masterpiece even more!
