The first time I encountered Ghost was actually not by hearing a Ghost song. It was hearing a performance of the song Sympathy For The Devil, by their singer Tobias Forge together with the band The Hellacopters on the Swedish TV show "På Spåret" by accident. After that I was hooked and now Ghost is one of my favorite bands!

#10 kiss the go-goat
Ghost has so many fantastic songs and starting off this list is Kiss The Go-Goat.
I like the lyrics on this one as well as Tobias Forge's vocals which never disappoints. But the best part of this song has to be, in my opinion, the great upbeat melody.
#9 year zero
This song has often been described as very dark and even evil, and quite frankly I don't mind that at all. There is something mesmerizing about this song. I can't put my finger on it, but it's probably the melody that has me spellbound by this one.
#8 zenith
Zenith is a good example of what makes Ghost so good. Great vocals, lyrics and also absolutely fantastic instruments. I absolutely love the inclusion of piano. The background vocals are also really cool and set a mood worthy of a Ghost song!
#7 SQUARE HAMMER
Square Hammer is the Ghost song on YouTube with the most views, and I can certainly understand why it's so popular. It's not yet in my top five, but it's absolutely fantastic. Who knows, this might just climb my list in the future too.
#6 RATS
Some songs I love because of the instruments and melody, some because of the vocals and some because of the lyrics, and this is a song that really stands out on just that, lyrics. I love everything with this song but especially the lyrics to Rats.
#5 JESUS HE KNOWS ME
Ghost has so many amazing original songs, but they have also made quite a few awesome covers and my absolute favorite one is Jesus He Knows Me. This maintains everything awesome from the original by Genesis yet adds so much!
#4 HE IS
The instruments and melody of this one are absolutely superb and as mesmerizing as only Ghost can be. But for He Is, my favorite part is the lyrics. The song also has a great music video that I really recommend watching.
#3 Spillways
This is a song that I listen to very often, maybe even more than the first song on the list. It's simply great in every way. It's strange it has a fairly low view count on YouTube though, it should have more even though it was released in 2022.
#2 Mary On A cross
Mary On A Cross is one of the most popular Ghost songs and I can certainly understand why. I think it's one of their best song, and every element of it just clicks with me. I also recommend the live version, that you can find on YouTube!
#1 Griftwood
This is my favorite song from the album Impera. The album is in my opinion very underrated and often overlooked, but features a lot of fantastic songs, like this one. It's simply phenomenal and right now my favorite Ghost song!
